Built around the revolutionary Sharp 6.7w Mini Zenigata LED, this lamp offers a fantastic light output with a 30 degree beam angle meaning it's perfect for general lighting without shadowing. You can replace existing 35w halogen lamps with these units without losing light output.

The LED itself is flat and the housing features a high grade optical lens which gives and even dispersal over 45 degrees which is almost identical to a standard halogen lamp.

We have demonstrated these lamps to some major London hotels and ALL have said yes - the light quality is now excellent and they will be using them to replace existing halogen lamps to reduce energy costs WITHOUT compromising the look and feel of the Hotel.

To keep things simple the electronics inside the Maxilux Ultra are SPECIFICALLY designed to take the 'dirty' signal from a standard transformer and 'clean' it into the constant current supply required by the LED. The result is a lamp you can plug into your existing set up and reasonably expect it to operate normally without compromising the long term reliability - there are a few exceptions where it might not work in which case you can of course return it for refund, but all the transformers we have tried have worked perfectly.
